About Us
California Builder Services is a boutique consulting firm that partners with land developers and homebuilders across California to navigate the Department of Real Estate (DRE) approval process. Our Clovis-based team brings deep expertise, structure, and professionalism to complex real estate projects, supporting some of the most respected names in the industry.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our subdivision processing team. This is a full-time, in-office role at our Clovis headquarters that offers a meaningful opportunity to advance your career in real estate development, compliance, and project management.
In this role, you’ll support subdivision filings and regulatory approvals, coordinate with public agencies and private-sector clients, and gain exposure to a wide range of projects across the state. This is a dynamic, detail-oriented position where organization and communication are key.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between developers, attorneys, engineers, government agencies, and utility providers
- Organize and manage digital and physical project files across multiple concurrent projects
- Review and interpret technical documents such as legal descriptions, recorded maps, and utility plans
- Track critical milestones and ensure deadlines are met for each phase of the project
- Conduct research on properties, entitlements, and regulatory requirements
- Support senior project managers with document preparation, agency coordination, and client follow-up
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional office setting (required)
- Background in real estate, escrow, title, construction, or land development (strongly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field (strongly preferred)
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with online research
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Local to the Fresno/Clovis area and able to work full-time in the office (no hybrid or remote options)
